(This marks the seventh year in a row the hospital has received this recognition)
Foley, AL – July 6, 2018 – South Baldwin Regional Medical Center has been ranked one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare magazine again. This marks the seventh year in a row the hospital has received this recognition.
Now in its eleventh year, Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare honors workplaces throughout the healthcare industry that empower their employees to provide customers and patients with the best possible products, services and care. This nationally recognized list showcases every segment of the industry, including suppliers, providers and payers. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey.
“Whether on the frontline or in the top office, healthcare employees witness moments that can either inspire or dishearten them. That can take a toll on an individual and healthcare organizations must take extra steps to ensure that highs and lows during the workday don’t impact engagement or performance,” said Modern Healthcare Editor Aurora Aguilar. “This year’s best places to work, voted on by the employees themselves, exemplify what it takes to maintain dedication and satisfaction among its employees and that is the key to good patient care. Congratulations to this year’s winners and we look forward to celebrating with you in September.”
“South Baldwin Regional Medical Center is honored to receive Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work in Healthcare Award for the seventh year in a row,” said Daniel McKinney, CEO. “This prestigious and consistent national recognition reconfirms that the culture at SBRMC is fueled by the passion, commitment and talent of our staff; those who have made a conscious decision to come together to deliver on a shared mission – significantly improving the delivery of healthcare to our community.”
Modern Healthcare will reveal the ranked order of the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2018 at an awards dinner September 27 in Dallas during Modern Healthcare’s “Workplace of the Future” conference. The publication will also be featured in a special supplement to be published along with the October 1 issue of Modern Healthcare.
