Maternity Care
Having a baby is one of the most exciting and rewarding times in a woman's life, and Baldwin Health is dedicated to providing expectant mothers and newborns with the finest care during this special time. Maternity services are provided by obstetricians, gynecologists, anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, lactation counselors, social workers, maternity nurses, pediatricians and respiratory therapists.
Baldwin Health Women's and Children's Center's labor, delivery and recovery (LDR) rooms have spacious layouts with home-like surroundings. After delivery, you will move from your LDR room to a private, postpartum room, where you can room in with your baby if you wish.
Prenatal Care
Baldwin Health's care begins in the earliest stages of pregnancy, with prenatal checkups and services tailored to your specific needs. You'll learn about proper nutrition and work with your obstetrician to develop a birth plan, choose a pediatrician and get properly prepared.
